| Mami Yamamoto was born in Osaka, Japan and because of her background, we have been able to secure our textiles from the largest supplier of vintage textiles in Japan. Mami hand selects each texile from our supplier's stock and this sometimes proves to be a daunting task. | |||||||||||||||

| We have been blessed to deal with suppliers as knowledgable as ours. Their lives revolve around Japanese texiles and their vast knowledge is a definate asset. She was a traditional textile dyer and her knowledge comes from years of working with textiles (as an artist) and her vast experience in selling textles in Japan.
Mami's eye for textiles coupled with our supplier's knowledge and vast inventory have allowed us to maintain an inventory of quality textiles. All of our textiles are vintage and as such, are all one-of-a-kind. Our aim is to showcase the textile arts of Japan through the selections available. We hope that this information is of interest to you and we hope that you will take the time to visit often. Sincerely, Tom Finke & Mami Yamamoto Ichoya |
