This original woodblock print is from the Meiji Era (circa 1901). This woodblock was taken from a kimono design book, originally intended to showcase custom made kimonos. The image is of a color tomesode, showing a autunm scene. At the top is a butterfly crest while the lower half depicts an fall or autumn view with chrysanthemums. The dimensions of the print are 7 3/4" in height by 5 5/8 in width. There is a slight crease on the lower left side which is hidden by the matt, otherwise, print is in excellent condition.
