This lovely women's haori is probably from the early to mid 1900s. The haori is made from fine kinsha/chirimen silk and it is depicted with a beautiful peacock design. The dominant colors you find on this haori are orange-red, gray-white, and some gold outlines against very dark eggplant. The haori is fully lined with red damask silk. It is in excellent condition.
