This lovely girls kimono is probably from the mid 1900s. The kimono is made from fine chirimen silk and it depicts a number of karako-baby figures in traditional stencil-dye-technique. The dominant colors you find on the kimono are orange, mustard yellow, light blue, and black against the red background. The kimono is fully lined with peony pink silk fabric. It is in excellent condition.
