This chic design summer kimono is probably from the early to the mid 1900s. The kimono is made from fine "ro" silk and the design of the kimono is an abstract stripe in yellow and black. This tiger-like design was created by traditional katazome (stencil dye) technique. The kimono has no lining as you find most of summer kimonos. It is in excellent condition.
