This Hitoe kimono (one layer silk kimono/usually worn in the summer) is made of Tsumugi (hand-spun silk) from the Taisho (c1912-1926) to early Showa Era (c1926-1988). As you can see from the photograph, the kimono is a delicate lavender color with white kasuri patterning. This summer kimono is in excellent condition.
