This rare color summer kimono is probably from the early to the mid 1900s. The kimono is made from fine ³ro? silk and it is depicted with small chrysanthemum designs and those designs were created by traditional stencil dye technique (katazome). The color of the kimono is brown, which is relatively rare to find. There is no lining as you find in most of summer kimonos. The kimono is in excellent condition.
