This very understated color tomesode kimono is probably from the mid 1900s. This type of tomesode is for semi-formal occasion for married women. The kimono is made from fine chirimen silk and it is depicted with a very elegant plum design, which was executed by hand painting. There are also subtle amounts of hand embroidery over the plum design. The color of the kimono is rare lavender/gray purple. The kimono is fully line with a silk fabric and there are three family crests in the back. It is in excellent condition.
