This rustic and sweet kasuri (ikat) was probably from the early to mid 1900s. The kimono was made from cotton and the pattern was woven in as both weft and warp were dyed respectively prior to weaving. The color of the kimono is indigo blue and the color of pattern is light blue. This pattern of the kasuri indicates that this kimono was probably made in Shikoku-island. There is no lining. It is in excellent condition.
