This rare and contemporary-look summer kimono is probably from the early to mid Showa era (1926-1988). The kimono is made from lightweight summer ro silk and it is depicted with a modern abstract pattern in chocolate brown and brown-orange. As you see with most of summer garments, this piece also has no lining. There are few small and light stains; otherwise, it is in excellent condition. This kimono would make a wonderful decoration in modern design homes!
