Itomaki Motif Kasuri Fabric Traditional Itomaki, yarn spool, is the shape of this kasuri motif, which is relatively rare to see on textiles. We found this lovely piece in Kyushu, Japan and believed it was originally from Kurume region of Kyushu. The line of each "spool" is very definite and each woven pattern is beautifully executed. Ca.
