This rustic and sweet kasuri (ikat) was probably from the early to mid 1900s. The kimono was made from cotton and the pattern was woven in as both weft and warp were dyed respectively prior to weaving. The kimono is indigo blue with white and royal blue pattern. The pattern of the kasuri indicates that this kimono was probably made in Shikoku-island. The kimono has no lining. It is in excellent condition.
