This lovely kasuri (ikat) kimono is probably from the early to mid 1900s. The kimono is from an indigo-dyed hand-woven cotton fabric and the origin of this particular kasuri is more likely from Iyo (the western shikoku-island). The pattern you find on this kimono is a floral with some geometric design with a touch of red waft. There is no lining in the interior of this kimono as it was probably worn in warm seasons. It is in excellent condition.
The dimensions are:
Width (Sleeve to Sleeve): approximately 45"
Length: approximately 52"
Sleeve Length: approximately 23.5"
Body Width: approximately 22.5"
