This lovely Nagoya-style obi is probably from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. The obi is made from jacquard woven silk and it depicts with small motifs of bamboo leaves, fortune hammer, and ties. The colors you find on this obi are silver-gray, espresso brown, and mat gold. The design goes the both sides of the obi. It is in excellent condition. This particular obi is 11 1/2" x 46" in wide section and 6" x 92" in the narrow section.
