This truly one of a kind sakiori obi is made circa early Showa era (1912-1926). The obi is woven with mix-recycled materials and the stripe pattern is not regular as many other old sakiori obis are. Some of the colors you find on this sakiori obi are orange-red, burgundy, purple, dark browns, grays, peach, navy blue, sage green, etc. The widths of the stripes are somewhere between 2" and 3". This obi is originally made out of two short obis, which you will find a connecting point in the middle. The obi has a perfect rustic touch and will make a beautiful runner. This particular obi is 6.5" in width and 48" in length. Please e-mail us if you have any questions, desire additional images or information.
