This cheerful wedding obi is probably from the mid 1900s. The obi was hand-woven from fine silk and it depicts large phoenixes flying over auspicious and large flora designs. The dominant colors you find on the obi are red, gold, light blue, peach, pink, and green against the ivory background. It is in excellent condition.
