This lovely formal fukuro obi is from a contemporary period (after WWII). The obi is made from silk and it depicts large cranes, maple leaves, and plum blossoms. The dominant colors on this obi are gold, silver, red, and orange against the black background. The design is only seen one side of the obi. The pattern side has approximately 46" of solid black part. It is in excellent condition. This particular obi is 12" in width and 161" in length.
