"Since I was small, I have practiced Japanese sumi-ink calligraphy and sumi is my media of choice with which to write and paint. Sumi is a monochromatic world and, I believe, it is one of the simplest forms of expression.
I use painting to revisit my earlier memories in Osaka, Japan and also to reflect everyday scenes from my present life here in America. My internal journey continues........"
